About Me
I was born and raised in Sichuan, China, which is known as the "hometown of panda".
With my mother being a geography teacher, I have long been passionate about GIS, which I have been studying in the department of Geographical Information Science at Wuhan University (WHU) for my bachelor's degree. WHU is one of the top universities in China and possesses the best faculty and research level in the GIS field. I have experienced first-rate GIS training in China there. However, we still have a long way to go before we could keep pace with international GIS research. And this is why I was so ecstatic when I finally made my way to the Copernicus Master in Digital Earth (CDE) program.
